Grief, Healing &Amp; Moving Forward After Loss

Drawing from her memoir, A Widow's Fire: An Intimate Memoir of Heartbreak, Survival, and Moving On, Diane will share her deeply personal journey through two years of caregiving, profound loss, and ultimately, healing. 

Throughout her presentation, Diane will explore:

• The emotional realities of caregiving and anticipatory grief
• The challenges of navigating life after the loss of a spouse
• The practical and emotional steps she took to rebuild her life
• Finding hope, purpose, and happiness while continuing to honor the love she lost

The presentation concludes with an interactive question-and-answer session, where Diane welcomes discussion about caregiving, grief, healing, and moving forward after loss.

Our weekly meetings are held every first and third Wednesday of the month at Cashiers United Methodist Church, located at 894 Highway 107S in Cashiers, NC. Lunch is served at 11:30am and the meeting begins at 12pm/noon. Visitors are welcome!
