The Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley was honored to welcome Ruth Russ & Rob Wood from the Bazaar Barn as our guest speakers at the first meeting of the new year!
Ruth shared the remarkable story of the Bazaar Barn, which has grown from a once‑a‑year tent event into the thriving, year‑round retail operation it is today. Since moving into its current building, the Bazaar Barn has generated nearly $1.5 million in support of Outreach programs.
The Bazaar Barn embodies the Church of the Good Shepherd’s commitment to reflecting God through “Faith in Action.” What began as a small community effort has become an extraordinary force for good. In 2025 alone, the Bazaar Barn awarded $490,000 in grants to 47 community organizations, strengthening the lives of countless individuals across our region.
We are grateful to Ruth Russ, Rob Wood and the dedicated volunteers who make this mission possible. Their work is a powerful example of how compassion, service, and community partnership can create lasting impact.
